Shipping Policy

All orders are packaged with care prior to shipment. Once a package is transferred to the shipping carrier, responsibility for its condition lies with the carrier. If an item arrives damaged due to carrier handling, the customer must file a damage claim directly with the shipping company. Blue Eye Queen Shop will provide reasonable documentation upon request but cannot issue refunds or replacements for carrier-caused damage.

Freight shipments, including but not limited to Children’s Books, Book Bundles, Multi-Book Sets, Large Sets, high-volume orders of Children’s Literature, and bulk quantities of any products sold by Blue Entity, LLC, are subject to separate freight billing and specialized handling procedures. Due to the weight, size, and dimensional characteristics of these products, freight shipping charges cannot be calculated during online checkout and will instead be invoiced separately after the order is placed. Customers acknowledge and agree that all freight-related charges must be paid in full prior to the release, packing, scheduling, or dispatch of any freight shipment. Failure to remit prompt payment may result in delays or cancellation at the sole discretion of Blue Entity, LLC.

All freight shipments require in-person delivery, mandatory identification, and verified signature at the time of arrival. Freight carriers will not leave pallets, crates, or large goods unattended. The customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorized individual is available to accept and sign for the shipment during the scheduled delivery window. Any additional carrier-imposed charges—such as liftgate use, inside-delivery, address correction, limited-access delivery, or redelivery due to customer unavailability—remain the sole responsibility of the customer.

Upon delivery, the customer must inspect the freight immediately. Any visible or concealed damage, including torn wrapping, crushed corners, broken seals, compromised pallets, water exposure, or missing items, must be clearly noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt prior to signing. Customers are required to take detailed photos of the damaged packaging and product at the time of delivery. In accordance with federal freight regulations and industry standards, all claims for loss, damage, or shortages must be filed directly by the customer with the freight carrier. Blue Entity, LLC is not legally permitted to initiate, negotiate, or settle freight damage claims on the customer’s behalf but will supply reasonable documentation to support the customer’s claim. Once a shipment is transferred to the carrier, full liability for handling, transport conditions, and timely delivery transfers to the carrier.

Large abstract artworks, oversized canvases, specialty installations, sculptures, and similar fine-art pieces are transported exclusively through professional art-handling and white-glove delivery partners. These partners are responsible for custom wrapping, padded crating, secure loading, protective transport, and scheduled home or studio delivery. Due to the delicate nature of these works, signature is required upon delivery and customers must be available for the scheduled appointment. Failure to accept delivery may result in storage fees, rescheduling charges, or return freight costs, all of which are billed directly to the customer.

Freight classification automatically applies to any order that exceeds standard parcel carrier restrictions, including but not limited to: the USPS weight limit of 70 lbs per package; UPS and FedEx limits of 150 lbs per package; oversized dimensions exceeding allowable girth; multi-box shipments requiring palletization; and any Book Bundles, Children’s Book Sets, or Large Set orders of 500 units or more. When freight thresholds are reached, Shopify will display a notice such as “Freight Shipping — We Will Invoice You.” Customers must complete checkout with the understanding that the initial order payment does not include freight charges and that a separate freight invoice will follow.

By placing an order containing freight-eligible or oversized items, the customer expressly agrees to the following terms: (1) freight shipping is billed separately and must be paid before dispatch; (2) any and all freight, redelivery, handling, accessorial, service, or storage fees charged by the carrier are the responsibility of the customer; (3) all freight damage, loss, or shortage claims must be filed by the customer directly with the carrier; (4) signature and inspection at delivery are mandatory; (5) delays caused by customer unavailability, incorrect addresses, unpaid freight invoices, or missed appointments are not the responsibility of Blue Entity, LLC; and (6) all freight shipments become the legal responsibility of the carrier once transferred from our warehouse. All sales involving freight or oversized items are final.

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking
A confirmation email with tracking information is automatically sent to the email address provided at checkout once the order has shipped. Customers are responsible for ensuring their email and shipping details are entered accurately. Any delays, misdeliveries, or issues due to incorrect information must be resolved directly with the carrier.

Taxes, Duties & Import Fees
All applicable sales taxes, customs duties, VAT, and import fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges vary by location and are not included in product pricing or shipping costs. Blue Eye Queen Shop does not cover or reimburse any additional fees imposed by carriers or customs agencies.
